Meaning of Adyan
Adyan is an indirect Quranic name for boys and girls that is most common in South Asia. Adyan means “religions”, “creeds”, it is the plural of deen (religion). It is derived from the D-Y-N root which is used in many places in the Quran.

We were requested to change our sons name as Islamic scholars/Imams told us that Adyan doesnt have a good meaning as it means “Religions” which means you accepting other religions and other gods. In Islam we follow just one and thats Allah.
