My name is Sakinah. My grandmother raised me and she use to spell it Sakeenah. They also say there was a mix up in the way they spelled it on my birth card and or my social security. But I think I represent my name and it brings a lot of attention I am an African American. And may people from different religion admire my name. To Continue I was going to be adopted by a black Muslim family however my grandmother claimed me instead. My father was a married man but my mom stayed in the same neighborhood as him and pointed me to his house.
