Meaning of Sajid
Sajid is a direct Quranic name for boys that means “one who prostrates”, “one who is a devout worshiper of Allah”. The word Sajid is mentioned in verse 9 of Surat az-Zumar (chapter 39 0f the Quran).
Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]?
