Tahreem or Tehreem is the name of a chapter in the Quran and means "prohibition", "prevention", something that's haram (forbidden). It is not a good name since it implies sins and hardship. It is the name of a chapter of the Quran, which is why some people use it, however the name does not refer to a good concept, as the chapter is admonishing the Prophet ﷺ for forbidding himself things that God has made lawful to him.

I had my name tehreem till I was 8 years old. Tgen my parent consult some big scholars of Pakistan and Saudia and both requested to change it which my parents did alhumdulillah. I would just like to add and clarify that for everyone saying Tahreem is a “good” name because it is in the Quran, please do your research (i.e.- read the translation). Yes, it certainly is in the Quran, but in the Quran, Sūrat at-Taḥreem (Arabic: سورة التحريم) is the Chapter on “Banning, Prohibition”. There are many lessons in the Quran, of good, bad, haraam, and halaal. As scholars have said, please do not give your daughters this name. And Allah knows best.
