Assalamu Alaikum, Kindly let me know the correct meaning of Aariz, how is it spelled and what's the interpretation of the Quranic ayyat: فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ قَالُوا هَٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا ۚ بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُم بِهِ ۖ رِيحٌ فِيهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ And when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Rather, it is that for which you were impatient: a wind, within it a painful punishment [46:24]

As for how to spell it, the Arabic spelling is in the above link, but in English you can spell it however you like, since it is not an English word.
As for the verse you mentioned, you already included the interpretation (translation), for this reason I don't see what else I should say about it, the meaning is clear: they saw something in the sky, they thought it as a cloud that would bring them rain, but they were wrong.

I want to give this name to my baby but because of the next ayat which is bringing different meaning of the word so I’m confuse.and in Arabic it is Aaridh we should pronounce it Aaridh as it is Quranic word.
