Full Meaning of Ezzan

Ezzan is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “noble”, “excellent”, “lofty”, “cherished”, “extraordinary’. Ezzan is derived from the AIN-Z-Z root which is used in many places in the Quran.

They said (to Prophet Yusuf), ‘O exalted one, he has a very aged father, take one of us in his place. We can see that you are a doer of good.’ (Quran 12:78)
