Full Meaning of Ezraa
Ezraa is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “virgin”, and it is also one of the names of the city of al-Madinah. It also refers to a pearl that’s whole, that hasn’t been touched by making a hole in it to be used in a necklace. It is derived from the AIN-DHAL-R (freedom from blame, etc.) root which is used in many places in the Quran.
When some of them asked, ‘Why do you admonish a people whom God is going to destroy or to afflict with a severe punishment?’ They answered, ‘In order to be free from blame before your Lord, and that they may perhaps fear Him.’ (Quran 7:164)
