Meaning of Yaqub
Yaqub (Jacob) is a direct Quranic name for boys that refers to one of the prophets of the Quran, whose name is mentioned 16 times in the Quran. Yaqub is an ancient name that means “successor”, “heir”, “following”, as mentioned in the Bible. Its meaning is not mentioned in the Quran.
