Full Meaning of Aseyre

Aseyre is a Quranic boy name that means “light reflected from a sword”. It is not directly mentioned in the Quran, but it is derived from the A-TH-R root which is used in a number of places in the Quran, such as 94:10:

They blaze a trail of dust.

The name is popular due to Ibn al-Aseyre, one of the greatest Muslim historians.
