It means foolish in Arabic. Muhammad didn’t realise what this name meant and thought it was the name of Abraham’s father. Hahaha

Azar has same meaning in Arabic as meaning of Terah in Hebrew. Both names referring to Abraham’s (PBUH) father. The verses in Quran are sent by Allah and revealed to Muhammad PBUH by Arch Angel Gabriel. This is a proof that author or old scriptures and Quran is the same. Allah!
