Assalamu alaikum..i have selected the a boy baby name mahdi-the guided one..is it ok if name this for my son.

I think, the name Mahdi can be given to a male child, as the very name means “one who is guided” ( hdayat k rstay pe chlaya gya ). M. Sulaiman Razi SST. English from Kot Radha Kishen Distt. Kasur
