Meaning of Aban
Aban is an indirect Quranic name for boys and girls that means “clear”, “lucid”, “eloquent.” It is derived from the B-Y-N root which is used in many places in the Quran, including in the name of Chapter 98: Bayyinah (The Clear/Lucid Truth).
He said, ‘O my people, tell me: if I have clear evidence from my Lord, and He has granted His mercy, who then will support me against God, if I disobey Him? You would only make my loss greater. (Quran 11:63)
