Shanzay is not an Arabic or Quranic name. It seems to be from Farsi or Urdu origins. The Sha part means king, royalty. I am not sure about the nzay part. Some sites say the name means “princess”, and this is probably since the name has the Sha in it. Since the meaning isn’t bad you can use it.

As far as Muslim names go, The name is okay ass long as:
1: It does not have a negative meaning.
2: It’s meaning does not convey something that is associated with shirk or anything un-Islamic, (e.g., if it means something like: “Fat, hard, praise the sun, hindrance, etc, then it isn’t qualified)
If a non-Muslim converts to Islam; as long as their current name does not violate the above categories, then it’s not required to change it.
Say if the ex-non-muslim’s name is “Charlie, David, Mary, Cherry, etc. These
types of names are acceptable.
