Eglaale is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means grand, splendid, majestic. It is derived from the J-L-L root (it became grand, it became splendid), which is used in many places in the Quran.

 Everyone on it is bound to perish. And the Divine Face of your Lord will forever remain supreme, full of majesty and grace. (Quran 55:26-27)
