Emaan is a good name and you can use it. If someone is named Abdullah (“servant of Allah”), and if someone asks “Is Abdullah at home?” and you say “no”, this too could be considered to have a bad meaning because it means there is no servant of Allah inside the home. And yet the name Abdullah is a good Islamic name, because we are not supposed to interpret the meaning of words when they are used as a name. Once Emaan becomes the name of your daughter, people are not supposed to think of its meaning whenever the name is used, because it is just a name that refers to a person.
Another example is the name Muhammad. If you say “Muhammad is not at home” it means “no praiseworthy person is at home”, which means the people inside the home are not worthy of being praised. This too is a bad meaning. But we do not think of it this way because it is ridiculous and pedantic.
