Can u name a baby boy Noah and pronounce it in the way it is spelled from the bible?

    As far as I know and based on other rulings from this website it is fine to call your boy Noah rather than Nuh. If you are living in a western country this will make it much easier for you and for him as people know the name as they find Nuh hard to pronounce. Personally I would chose Noah but I would allow Arabs to call him Nuh if they wanted to (e.g. if we visited an Arab country on holiday) to make things easy. Also I love the name Nuh but it’s just not practical where I live. I grew up with a difficult to pronounce Arabic name and I found it very difficult as a child.
