Qirrat, pronounced [Ira(QI) + p(R)ay] + [(RU)n + (T)oy], has a different meaning from Qiraat. Qirrat means "cold", "coolness of weather", "getting cold". It comes from a different root than Qiraat (reading of the Quran). Qirrat comes from the Q-R-R (cold) root while Qiraat comes from the Q-R-A root. You can use Qirrat, but it has no relation with Qiraat.

However if you write Qirrat but you read it as [Ira(QI)] + [(R)un + m(A)n] + [(UT)ter], then it will have the same meaning as Qiraat, it will just be a different spelling of Qiraat.
