Assalamu Alaikum.I am Ahmed Kabir from Bangladesh.I want to naming my new born daughter.We select the name "Ayyana" by searching internet but from Arabic dictionary I've find out Ayyana means Where,When,How.like question.There is no meaning like persective or intelligent.So I'm very much confused about Ayyana/Ayana/Ayanah. will it a better name?Please response me. email:ahmed.kabir18@yahoo.com mdahmedkabir@gmail.com

The Ayyana that's directly mentioned in the Quran means "when", "time", while there is also another word that starts with a different letter in Arabic but in English it is written similarly, that means "woman with large eyes", "perceptive woman". This second meaning is not directly mentioned in the Quran, but its root as AIN-Y-N ("eye", "source") which is mentioned in the Quran.
