Meaning of Rayhan
Rayhan is direct Quranic name for boys and girls that means “good scent”, “fragrance”. Rayhan is used twice in the Quran, in verses 55:12 and 56:89.
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]. And grain covered with husk, and fragrant flowers. (Quran 55:11-12)
Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God. For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Paradise of Bliss. (Quran 56:88-89)
