Amthal is an direct Quranic name for boys and girls that means “the best”, “optimal”, “exemplary”. It is used in the Quran in verse 20:104.

We know very well what they will say, when the best among them in knowledge and wisdom will say: “You stayed no longer than a day!” (Quran 20:104)
