Meaning of Sanabel
Sanabel is a direct Quranic name for girls that means “plant ears”, “plant spikes”, as in “ears of wheat”, “ears of corn” (the part of the cereal plant that holds the seeds, see this picture of a person with three ears/spikes in his hand). Sanabel is the plural of Sonbol and Sonbula. Sonbula is mentioned in verse 2:261 of the Quran.
