Meaning of Nada
Nada is a Quranic name for girls that means “goodness”, “blessedness”. Spelled in a different way in Arabic, but pronounced the same way, it would also mean “call”, “plea”, “prayer”, “supplication.” It is not directly mentioned in the Quran but it derived from the N-D-Y root which is used in many places in the Quran:
2. This is the remembrance of the mercy of your Lord upon His servant Zakaria. 3. when he called upon his Lord in secret. (Quran 19:2-3)
We called out to him from the right side of the mountain, and drew him near in (Divine) conversation. (Quran 19:52)

This is a not fully correct translation. نادى (Naadaa) with a longer pronounced “a”, means calling. But ندى (Nada) with a very short pronunciation of both “a”s, is a different thing, it means dewy as the flowers being wet after the rain or the cold weather.
