Alayna is an Iranian name and it means Princess. I guess it is a Muslim name because I know a lot of Muslims named Alayna

I do not think a name changes the fact that you are a Muslim. People in most other countries have foreign names an yet are Muslims. Like Shakespeare said… A rose by any other name will still smell as sweet…. We should stop fussing about the petty things and get real. Behave like the prophet Saw.. AND YOU can call yourself Muslim

I am really confused about the meaning of Alayna. This is the ONLY website which states the Alayna means “upon Us” where as every other muslim website it means “Rock Princess” Please advise me the CORRECT meaning and why it is said the name Alyana means “upon us”

Could you please write the Arabic spelling for Alaina? I was thinking about the quranic spelling علينا but I think it means ‘upon us’, is the other translation for الينة ?
