One of my friend has suggested a name "Aynan". She says the meaning of the name "Aynan" comes from Surah Ar-Rahman and thinks that it refers to two floating springs in the heaven. I would like to get this information varified by you. I would greatly appreciate if could help me with this and letting me know if "Aynan" is an islamic name. What if I match it with "Aayisha"? Does "Aayisha Aynan" make sense?

`Aynan means "two springs" as you said, it is used in Surat ar-Rahman verses 50 and 66. `Aynan, with the exact same spelling and pronunciation in Arabic also means "two eyes." In the Quran only the "two springs" meaning is mentioned for `Aynan.

Aayisha Aynan would mean "Aynan, the well-living woman." It is an acceptable meaning.

Aynan is pronounced as (U)ntil + pra(Y) + (N)ame + sm(A)rt + (N)ame.
