I have come across a name 'Aizah' ... The meanings I've come across on different websites are 'Prospering' 'noble' and 'alive' ... It is really confusing to chose a name because all websites show different meanings and different spellings.

Aydhah and Aayedhah are two names with the same meaning, which could be spelled and pronounced as Aizah, Ayza, Ayeza and Aayza mean "replacement" and "substitute", something good that Allah gives us as a gift in replacement for something we lost.

Please read Surah Al Maidaah verse number 54.. Aizah clearly has a very good meaning. It means one who cannot be defeated by the kafirs. Noble,repected and clearly a winner against disbelievers. Soft and loving natured human being on a believer and strong, determined and harsh on the disbelievers
