      Can i name baby boy as “YAFIS”?I heard that he is the son of Prophet Nuh(pbuh).Could u pls confirm it?

      Yafis, or more accurately Yafith, known as Japheth in English, is supposed to be one of the sons of Noah in the Bible. The Quran or hadith does not mention this name, but since it is supposed to be the name of a prophet, it is acceptable for Muslims to use. The exact meaning of this name is not known, some sources say it means “enlargement”.
