      Asalamwalaikum
      I wanted to know if name Azaan is permitted in islam for baby boy. Is there any consequences if we name our baby Azaan. kindly suggest.

      Alaikumassalam wa rahmatullah,

      The name Azaan is acceptable. We know of no consequences besides the child being called Azaan.
