Full Meaning of Faheemah

Faheemah is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “perceptive”, “understanding”, “keen”, “smart.” It is derived from the F-H26-M root which is used in the Quran in Surat al-Anbiya’ (Chapter 21):

And We gave understanding of the case to Solomon, and to each [of them] We gave judgement and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains to exalt [Us], along with David and [also] the birds. And We were doing [that]. (Quran 21:79)
