Abdul Maleek (also spelled Abd al-Maleek, not to be confused with the more common Abdul Malik and Abdul Maalik) is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “servant of the King”, thus meaning “servant of Allah”. Abdul Maleek can be distinguished from its similar siblings by the long “ee” sound in Maleek (Malīk).
