Meaning of Mujtaba
Mujtaba is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “chosen”, “selected among many”. It is one of the names of Prophet Muhammad used in Islamic literature. It is derived from the J-B-Y root which is used in a number of places in the Quran.
Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping. (Quran 19:58)

Assalaamualaekum. I named my baby girl Mujtabaa after the prophet peace be apon him . Considering it one of his finest attributes , I let go of gender disparity rather I concentrated on the meaning-” the chosenone”.
Please tell me if it is a matter of concern or such a thing that I need to contemplate on changing her name, though I do not wish to.
