Full Meaning of Khuzaymah

Khuzaymah is an Arabic name for boys and girls that refers to a type of tree known as the “Gabal Elba dragon tree” in English (scientific name Dracaena ombet). It is the name of many companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him and his companions, such as Khuzaymah bin Aws, Khuzaymah bin al-Harith, Khuzaymah bin Thabit and Khuzaymah bin Aasim. There is also a Sahabiyyah (female companion) whose name is Khuzaymah bint Jahim.
