Full Meaning of Khuzaima

Khuzaima is an Arabic name for boys and girls that refers to a type of tree known as the “Gabal Elba dragon tree” in English (scientific name Dracaena ombet). It is the name of many companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him and his companions, such as Khuzaima bin Aws, Khuzaima bin al-Harith, Khuzaima bin Thabit and Khuzaima bin Aasim. There is also a Sahabiyyah (female companion) whose name is Khuzaima bint Jahim.
