Shaheera for a non Muslim daughter?

My wife and I are Christian, however we have a very dear friend of ours named Shaheera. She and her husband have been like family to us for about 10 yearsno
We are considering naming our daughter Shaheera. However, we want to surprise her with this. And I’ve spoken with friends regarding this, however, we are both wondering how Muslims feel about non Muslims giving their children Muslim names. Thank you for your time!
