MaryamGuestI’ve been looking for the meaning of the name Lidya for a long time. Turkish sites translate it as a Muslim name whose meaning is Garden of Paradise and comes from Arabic. English sites, in turn, translate the name as the Noble, Pretty with Greek origins. Since I don’t speak Arabic, I couldn’t find a reliable source that would confirm in Arabic that the name Lidya (not Lydia) really means garden of paradise and comes from Arabic. do you have more information about this name? Is this an Arabic name and if yes, what is the real meaning ?
