confusion in pronounciation of Muaz and Maaz

Two years back, I named my son Muaz, after Holy Prophet’s companion’s name Muaz ibn Jabal. Now someone questioned me about its correct pronounciation. I must want to know the correct pronounciation of Muaz ibn Jabal! Is it Muaz or Maaz? Is it zabar or paish on Meem? Some call it Maaz and some Muaz.

in arabic the pronunciation is mu’adh so “muaz” is correct. but maaz is not wrong.
