Meaning of Ashaar
Ashaar is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “fierce”, “like a lion”. It is derived from the SH-AIN-R (perception, poetry, hair) root which is used in many places in the Quran

It’s not pronounced A-SHAAR, it’s pronounced “A-shər” so the spelling “Asher” is best. I’ve seen the spelling Ashir on some muslim websites.

My legal name is Ashaar and it is pronounced ASH-AAR and i was alway taught it meant brave, strong and courageous.
