Meaning of Ahmad
Ahmad is a direct Quranic name for boys. It has the exact same meaning as Muhammad: A person in which praiseworthy traits are abundant, or one who deserves constant praise due to their good character. It is one of the names of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).

I dont know why you comed on this islamic page. But if you want to put Islamic name like Ahmad on your Childeren, then do it please. Your child will have inshallah lot of friends and good supports from a large Groupe of Muslims. Your child will be thanksfull for it. Ofcourse it will have negative sides, like discriminting by the teachers, polices, governments, bad people.
But you have to prepare him to fight against discrimeters.
