Assalamualaikum , I have heard that another name of Surah e Baqara is Zirwa ? Is that true ?
Is it necessary to put ABDUL if we name a child after one of the names of ALLAH ? For eg .. ABDUL Basit , Abdur Rehman. Or we can just name a child as Rehman , Basit ..

For Zirwa please see this answer: ZIRWA is also another name of Surah e Baqara…

Abdul is necessary with same names and not necessary with others. Thus you can use Basit by itself, but you cannot use Rehman by itself, it should be Abdul Rehman. For more information on this please see this answer: Is it necessary to use “Abdul” with the names of Allah?

Assalamualaikum, dear to whom ever it may concern, I need a help , Inshallah soon i shall be blessed with a baby girl and I m planning to name her as ” Ayat al Zirwa ” can you please help me with the meaning of Zirwa and is it an appropriate .. Allah Hafiz
