Zariab is a Persian name for boys and girls that means “liquid gold”, known as “colloidal gold” in English. It refers to gold particles suspended in a liquid, which was used for giving color to glass in ancient times.

Zariab can also mean “one who finds gold”, “one who finds useful and beautiful things”, “one who comes up with useful and beautiful things”, from the words Zar (“gold”) and yab (“finder”), which is sometimes used figuratively to mean “rich”, “wealthy”.
