Youssef is a Quranic name for boys that refers to one of the prophets of the Quran, whose name is mentioned 27 times and chapter 12 of the Quran, known as Surat Youssef, is dedicated entirely to his story. Youssef is an ancient name that means “God gives”, “God increases” in the Bible, its meaning is not mentioned in the Quran.
