Full Meaning of Yazid

Yazid is a direct Quranic name for boys that means “he makes progress”, “he increases in power and wealth”, “he becomes happier”, “he increases in virtue”.

And so they fall down upon their faces, weeping, and [their consciousness of God’s grace] increases their humility. (Quran 17:109)
