Yakob (Jacob) is a direct Quranic name for boys that refers to one of the prophets of the Quran, whose name is mentioned 16 times in the Quran. Yakob is an ancient name that means “successor”, “heir”, “following”, as mentioned in the Bible. Its meaning is not mentioned in the Quran.
We gave him Ishaak and Yakob and granted prophethood and the Book to his descendants. We gave him his reward in this life and in the Hereafter he shall dwell among the righteous. (Quran 29:27)

Please do NOT include any NARRATIVES from the Bible, as its contents are Stories that were manufactured by 46 Pagan Writers of the KJ Bible , in 1611AD!
Also, do not refer to the Bible followers, or ‘christians’ as ‘people of the Book’!
The NASARAs, or Nazarethians, followed the Esa’s Injeel, therefore were MUSLIMS!
QURAN translators have mistranslated the Word NASARA, as ‘christians”!
Correct translation should be ‘muslims of Nazareth’ or ‘people of Nazareth’ (protectors of the Injeel).
