Abinus is an Urdu variant of the Persian name Abnus that means “ebony” (the type of wood, and the color). Both are acceptable. For more details see: Abnus The John Thompson Platts dictionary of Urdu and Hindi only mentions Abnus, therefore it is possible that Abinus is a dialectical variant, not the standard Urdu word.
