Full Meaning of Tafhem

Tafhem is an indirect Quranic name for boys and girls that means “to help someone understand something”, “to make a topic clear”, “to elaborate”, “to illustrate”. It is derived from the F-H26-M root which is used in many places in the Quran.

We gave Solomon the right understanding of the matter, and We bestowed wisdom and knowledge on both of them. We caused the mountains and the birds to celebrate Our praises along with David. We had the power to do this. (Quran 21:79)
