Full Meaning of Sheebaan

Sheebaan is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “white”, “covered with snow”, it is the Arabic name for the month of January. It is derived from the SH-Y-B root which is used three times in the Quran.

He said, “My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has flared up with white (hairs), and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy. (Quran 19:4)
