Semaa is variant of Sama and has the exact same meaning and pronunciation (see below for full meaning). You can use either Semaa or Sama, both are correct and acceptable. If you like this variant more and you'd like to pronounce it the way it is spelled (different than the original name), this is perfectly acceptable. Full Meaning of Semaa

Semaa is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “her status was raised”, “she became exalted”, “she became honored”. The difference between this name and Semaaa (sky) is that Semaa has the emphasis on the first syllable (SAma), while Semaaa‘s emphasis is on the second syllable (saMAA). Semaa is derived from the S-M-A root (“high status”, “sky”, “name”) which is used in many places in the Quran.

Then is He who is a maintainer of every soul, [knowing] what it has earned, [like any other]? But to Allah they have attributed partners. Say, “Name them. Or do you inform Him of that which He knows not upon the earth or of what is apparent of speech?” Rather, their [own] plan has been made attractive to those who disbelieve, and they have been averted from the way. And whomever Allah leaves astray – there will be for him no guide. (Quran 13:33)
