Full Meaning of Saleemeh

Saleemeh is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “pure”, “untainted”, “safe and sound”, “virtuous”. It is derived from the S-L-M root which is used in many places in the Quran.

They shall dwell in the Home of Peace and Safety with their Lord; He will be their Protector as a recompense for what they have been doing. (Quran 6:127)
