Full Meaning of Razwa

Razwa is an indirect Quranic name for girls that is the name of a mountain in al-Madinah, city of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God upon him. It is derived from the R-DHAD-Y (contentment, attainment of God’s pleasure) root which is used in many places in the Quran.

Solomon smiled broadly at its words and said, ‘Lord, inspire me to be thankful for the blessings You have granted me and my parents, and to do good deeds that please You; and include me, by Your grace, among Your righteous servants.’ (Quran 27:19)
