Meaning of Rayhan
Rayhan is direct Quranic name for boys and girls that means “good scent”, “fragrance”. Rayhan is used twice in the Quran, in verses 55:12 and 56:89.
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]. And grain covered with husk, and fragrant flowers. (Quran 55:11-12)
Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God. For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Paradise of Bliss. (Quran 56:88-89)

Raihan is used mostly for boys, not ladies. Quran did not mention it will lead to female matter or character, because which means Frangance that have no gender.

There was no rayhan plant in Arabia at the time of mohammed. Arab traders brought the plant and its seeds fron the south indian ocean islands of Malaysia and Indonesia. Just because it was mentioned in koran does not make its origin islamic or arabic. The name Maria

Rayhanuzzaman is supposed to be a bangali name which is Arabic/Farsi. And it means Rayhan of the time ( Rayhan of the era).
