Full Meaning of Rafi’ah

Rafi’ah is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “high”, “raised”, “exalted”, “sublime”, “noble”. It is derived from the R-F-AIN root which is used in many places in the Quran.

Exalted and throned on high, He lets the Spirit descend at His behest upon whichever of His servants He will, so that he may warn of the Day of Meeting. (Quran 40:15)
